Highlights of 2007 Black

Thirty-six students and chaperones returned from the Urban League of Nebraska’s (ULN)
21st annual Black College Tour (BCT) to Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
This year’s tour visits included stops to Langston University in Langston, OK, Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, AL, Alabama A&M University in Huntsville, AL, Tennessee State University, Fisk University,
and Meharry Medical College all in Nashville, TN.

Plans are well underway for the 2008 (April 4th – 11th) Black College Tour (BCT).
Colleges being considered are Clark Atlanta University, Spellman College, Georgia State, Morehouse College,
Morris Brown all in Atlanta, Georgia, Dillard, Grambling, Southern University, Xavier all in Louisiana,
and Lincoln University in Missouri. There will also be visits to Martin Luther King birth site,
the French Quarters in New Orleans, and Beal Street in Memphis.
