The Whitney Young Academy provides assistance to students in high school who are looking to continue their education in 4-year or 2-year colleges, or vocational training The Academy provides ongoing sessions and programs such as ACT prep classes, and mentorship opportunities with local businesses.

Terrill L. White Memorial Scholarship The Terrill White Memorial Scholarship is administered by the North High School Foundation, and is limited to North High School seniors. To apply, please submit a resume to the North High Administration Office. The emphasis for this scholarship is on Scholarship, Academics, and Community Service.
